Greed and avarice is often one of the weaknesses of the human race. Ben was generally known as a greedy person. Hoping to hunt some game, he went into a forest one day, and walked a long distance without much success. It only made him very tired and so decided to sit under a tree to rest before returning home.



He was hungry and could n’t help imagining how nice it would be to have some delicious food to eat. What a surprise, very delicious fruits appeared instantly. That was a special tree that could offer anything a person wanted as long as he was under the tree.

Happily he started to eat the fruits. Then he thought how nice it would be if there were some fruit juices as well. That too was instantly supplied. He was very happy and wanted to test it again. This time, he asked for expensive clothes and jewels and those too were given to him almost instantly.

He then asked for diamonds and within seconds, he got costly diamonds.

Now he began to wonder who was responsible for giving him all these things. He thought if all these were given by a devil, it might kill him and that is what happened the next moment.

He got all the good things as long as he had positive thoughts. When he had a negative thought, it caused him his tragic end.

Never be greedy. Always have positive thoughts in your mind.
