During the period of dating and a few years of marriage you think you are in real love with your partner. You think that you are both made for each other and that you are the perfect couple in the world. After a few years have gone by, you may have children by then and become more responsible and sensible. Nevertheless something is missing. Yes, the spark of love has disappeared. Why?

Real love means living for each other without any expectations from him/her. But in real life there seems to be no real love. We soon get attracted to physical elements and other social factors and chase after financial status, character building, and education and so on.

However after years have gone by after marriage you come to realize that your partner is not living up to your expectations.

There is yet another selfish factor which affects a relationship. We expect our partner to be the perfect person, though we do not try to be perfect ourselves.

There was a man who wanted to marry a perfect woman. He went in search of her from east to west and north and south across his country until he was seventy years old.

One of his friends asked him whether he did not meet his perfect woman all these years. He told him that he saw a perfect woman only once. His friend instantly asked him why he did not marry her then. He replied, “She wanted to marry a perfect man”

If you are successful in finding real love with your spouse then you can extend this love to your children, relatives, friends, other people, animals, plants and finally the Universe, that is God.

So, my dear friends, its quite simple, cultivate a close relationship with your spouse and share real love for it is the first step to reach God.

CAN A LOVE LAST FOR A LIFE TIME

Like it or not, both men and women betray their partners quite often. Experts say that more than 70% of men and about 50% of women have an affair at some point of their marriages. Many men and women try their best to save their marriages due to various reasons such as children’s future, social status, monetary matters and gratitude.

Nevertheless some marriage can’t survive an affair. Do you think it is possible to survive an affair? Yes, it is quite possible. If you could forgive your spouse once if he/ she repents on the mistake and promises not to continue the affair any more.

To err is human. Why not give him/her a chance to rectify his/her mistakes and start a new life? Maybe your relationship would grow stronger than ever before. After all he /she has lived with you so long sharing in your good and bad side of life.

However it is up to the erring partner to avoid taking undue advantage and repeat it in future.

Life is too short to keep brooding on mistakes and betrayals. Let us forgive and forget. Let us be loyal to our spouses. Infidelity can’t be easily forgotten but it can fade away with a strong and mature marriage.

CAN A LOVE LAST FOR A LIFE TIME

Preaching is always easy but to follow the good qualities in daily life is not that easy. You need to have a strong and mature mind to forgive the mistakes of others. Forgiving is a powerful tool which really helps to save a marriage, a love relationship, a partnership in a business, a friendship and many other relationships.

Are we willing and ready to forgive those who make mistakes and affect our happiness or progress in life? No, we are not at all ready to forgive. On the other hand, we often criticize their mistakes and destroy the relationships. It does not mean that we never forgive anybody.

We do forgive our children whatever mistakes they commit. Why is it possible for us to forgive the bigger mistakes of our children while we cannot forgive even the ordinary mistakes of others? It is because we consider our children as part of our body and soul. We are ready with excuses to forgive ourselves very easily even if we make great mistakes in our lives. Similarly, we can forgive our children, as they are a part of us.

We started to forgive our children when they slapped our cheeks with a shining smile when they were infants. We became used to forgive our children from that stage onwards.

The surprising fact is that we cannot forgive our spouses as we do our children. After all the spouse is the one whom we unite with body and soul. The spouse is the one who is going to be with us through thick and thin until the end of our life. Yet how many of us can forgive the better halves if they commit serious mistakes?

I shall put it in a very simple way now. You need abundant love with somebody to forgive him/her. Now my question is why many persons cannot forgive their spouses? Don’t they have real love in them? Or is it just the chemistry of lust only works between them? I will leave it to you to answer.



Let us begin our sincere love with the spouse, extend it with our children, parents, relatives, friends, others, animals and the Universe. Life will be more peaceful, joyous and meaningful then. Remember forgiving is the best giving.

In the present days both men and women think that, there is no need to say sorry to their spouses. This may be because the media has taught us so by way of fancy stories and so on. However, in real life saying sorry to their spouses helps a lot to strengthen a relationship between a man and woman. You need to help love grow for ever.

While dating both men and women, do not show their minus points to their partners. The reality comes to light only when they tie up in a marriage and start living together.



To err is human. When we do something, which offends our spouse we should say sorry with out the least hesitation. Love means surrendering everything to the partner and living totally for him/her. Love means that there is no need to express any ego where your spouse is concerned. Remember you need to help love grow for ever.

In fact, you can even go to that extent of saying sorry to your spouse when you are not wrong, if it will keep the peace, but at the same time explain your views subtly so he/ she realizes who is at fault. After all, if it is going to please your spouse and strengthen your relationship why not? If you can easily forgive your children for all their mistakes, why cannot you do that for your spouse who is going to be with you through thick and thin and till the end of your life.

Remember you need to help love grow for ever.


Love means a need to say sorry.

Once, there was a fisherman who lived in a small village close to a big river, where he used to fish every morning. As usual he went to the river one day, very early in the morning, much before dawn (he did not have a watch to know the time). Sitting on a rock, he waited for the sun to rise to start his day fishing. Moving his feet around, to get comfortable, he felt something at his feet. Still in darkness, it felt as though it was a bag with some heavy stones inside.

To while away his time, he started to throw those stones one by one, deep into the river and listened to the sound of water while it bounced. Just as there was one stone left, the rising sun spread its light on the place and it amazed him to see that last stone was in actual fact a very precious gem.

He did not realize the value of the gift God gave him until it was almost too late. Unfortunately for him he was not able to see those stones in the darkness. Would he have thrown them had he know the value of those precious stones? He was able to realize the value of his lost fortune only when the sun shone on the last stone bringing out its brilliance.




Similarly, life is a gift given to us by God. We live our lives in the darkness of ignorance, and never care to open the gifts that are given to us. Some people open their gifts when it is almost too late. It is then they see the light of wisdom, and realize the love of God, and the purpose of life.

We should always endeavor to open the gifts bestowed on us by God as early as possible in life. We can learn to enjoy life to the fullest afterwards.

If you could realize it and enjoy it.

You may be a micro particle in this universe,
