I am sure you will be surprised if I say that Man is the only animal that is bored. Have you ever seen your dog feeling boredom? The fact is no animal is ever bored except man.

The higher the intelligence the greater is the boredom. The intelligent man thinks a lot. When you start thinking much you want to know the meaning of everything. Believe me, there is no meaning for anything in this world including love. When you find that there is no meaning you get boredom.

How to overcome the boredom? There are many ways to get rid of your boredom. However, laughter is the best way of all. Remember man is the only animal that can laugh. May be that is why most of the intelligent men are humorous .Needless to say they love laughter.

There are three types of laughter.
• Laughing at others.
• Laughing at yourself
• Laughing not at others, not at you but at general things.

Third one is the best type of laughter.
Buddha’s laugh is a cosmic laugh and supposed to be the most effective laugh of the Universe.

Once the British Queen wanted to construct a big building inside her palace premises. She therefore invited all famous builders to submit their plans and estimates. Many qualified engineers presented their sophisticated plans to the Queen. A mason who was not so popular also submitted his simple plan to the queen.
Surprisingly the Queen was very much impressed with the plan submitted by the mason. Therefore, she approved his plan and awarded the building work to him. When the building was complete, it was remarkable with minimum pillars for the whole structure. All the engineers scared the queen by telling that there were serious defects in the design of the structure and the building would collapse at any time. They further suggested that the building needed a big pillar in the centre to avoid the collapse and save the building for some years at least.

The queen started to get some doubts about the strength of the roof of the building and hence she asked the mason to raise a big pillar in the middle. The mason had to obey the queen and so he reluctantly constructed a pillar in the centre as instructed by the Queen.

After 150 years, the palace people wanted to renovate the building. When they were carrying on the renovation work, they were shocked to note that the top tip of the pillar was not at all touching the roof. He just raised the pillar to satisfy the Queen and others.

Imagine how much confidence the Mason had on his professional skills. Are we so confident in our works?

We always think life will be the best when we get married,
Then we realise something is still missing,
So we think to have a baby to bring the best in life,then we go for the Other baby.


Then we toil ourselves to grow our kids,hoping things will change When the kids are older.


Then we buy a car ,a home,have a few vacations ,still not really happy at all?
We finally stop the race and retire hoping to be peaceful and happy.

We can't find the happiness then too,we start fearing and expecting death after.

The truth is there is no better time to be happy
than the right now.





If not then when?
There is no road for happiness.
so make all the roads your happiness.
Happiness is a voyage,not a destination.
There is no better time to be happy
than now.

Life is short,we never know how short,so


Enjoy life right now.

Buddha preached that desire is the cause of all worldly sorrows. Living without desire means there is no aim, no ambition and no target in life. Where will this lead us to in this highly competitive computer era?

Therefore, it is obvious that we must have desires to win in life. Our desire started when we were a sperm cell, swam via chemo taxis, and successfully reached the ovum. This desire process continues until the death though the intensity of desire differs in individuals and in distinctive matters.

Bhagavad-Gita says ‘do your duty, do not expect results’. Here again, we are confused... How can we go on working without bothering about the results? It means we should not lose our balance when we don’t get the expected results. If we lose our control the efficiency in our work will be affected considerably which in turn will produce an effect on the future results. If we have the maturity of mind to be cool and work hard continuously, we will achieve in a big way one day.

So, friends, let us, desire and work hard. We shall continue our efforts until we get the desired results. The world is beautiful and let us make our life more beautiful.
